Do I have to attend or believe anything to get help?

No. We do not require attendance, membership, agreement, or a profession of faith before helping someone. Help is not leverage.

Will you ask about my immigration status?

No. We do not ask about immigration status, and requests for food, care, or pastoral support are treated as confidential.

What languages do you answer in?

Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Choose the one you prefer and a real person will reply in it.

How quickly will someone answer?

We are a volunteer-led organization. Messages are answered by real people as quickly as they can — usually within a day. If a situation is urgent and dangerous, call 911 first.

How do I start volunteering?

Tell us your skills, your languages, and your realistic availability. A real person will talk with you, and anyone serving with children or teens must clear a background check first.

Is CBA Orlando part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church?

CBA Orlando is an independent nonprofit ministry organization rooted in the Adventist tradition. It is not an official entity of the General Conference, a union, or a conference, and it is not endorsed by them.
