What time are the services?
Our main gathering is the Sabbath, with Sabbath School (Bible study) and the Divine Worship service, and we also meet midweek for prayer and study. Because we gather at changing locations as we settle into a regular rhythm, reach out — by call, text, or message — and we will share the current time and place. You are welcome to come for all of it or just one part.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code, and no one is checking. You will see everything from nice clothes to jeans. Wear what feels comfortable and respectful to you — that is more than enough. Please never let clothing be a reason to stay home.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes. Families and children are a joy here, not an interruption. During Sabbath School there are age-appropriate classes for children. Kids are also welcome in the worship service — if your child gets restless, no one will mind. Just tell a greeter you are visiting with children and they will point you to the right place.
What language are the services in?
Our community is Brazilian, so most of what you will hear is in Portuguese. If you are more comfortable in English or Spanish, let someone at the welcome area know — we are glad to help you follow along and connect you with people who speak your language.
How do I find you, and where do I park?
When you reach out, we will share the location and what to expect, with free parking and a greeter ready at the door. The easiest thing is to let us know you are coming — we will make sure you know exactly where to go, and you can arrive a few minutes early to settle in without rushing.
What happens in a service?
You can expect singing, prayer, reading from the Bible, and a message (sermon). There may be moments to stand or sing along, but you are never required to do anything — you are free to simply sit, listen, and observe. We will not single you out or ask you to speak.
Do I have to be Adventist or believe anything to come?
No. You do not need to be a member, be Adventist, or be sure about what you believe to be here. CBA Orlando welcomes anyone, from any background, with respect and without pressure to convert or join.
Do I have to believe anything to get help?
No. Our help and community care are never conditional on faith, attendance, or agreement with what we believe. You are welcome to receive practical help and prayer regardless of your beliefs.
