Worship

Come worship with us on Sabbath.

CBA Orlando is a Brazilian Seventh-day Adventist church family in Central Florida. We gather for Sabbath School and Divine Worship, and midweek to pray and study Scripture together. Whatever language you speak and however long it has been, you have a place here.

When and where we gather

We share the time and place directly.

We gather for worship, Bible study, and prayer at locations across Central Florida. As we settle into a steady rhythm, we share the time and place personally — reach out by call, text, or message and we will make sure you know where and when to join us.

Saturday

The Sabbath is the heart of our week.

Adventists keep the seventh-day Sabbath as a day of rest and worship. The Sabbath is the center of the week for our family — a slower pace, time in the Word, singing, and prayer together.

Sabbath School Studying the Bible lesson together in classes, with groups for adults, youth, and children. Open to everyone — come as you are.
Divine Worship Praise, prayer, Scripture reading, and the sermon, with a warm welcome for first-time guests.
Fellowship meal On many Sabbaths the family shares a simple meal together. If you are visiting, you are invited to stay — there is always room at the table.
Midweek

Midweek prayer and study.

Midweek we slow down to pray for one another and open the Bible together. It is unhurried and informal — members and visitors alike are welcome.

Prayer and study gathering A group study followed by a time of prayer and intercession. Bring your Bible if you have one — we keep copies on hand for guests.
Your first time

What to expect when you visit.

If you have never been to a worship service like ours, that is completely fine. Here is what a Sabbath gathering looks like, so nothing feels unfamiliar.

  • There is no dress code. Some dress up, many dress simply — wear whatever lets you feel comfortable.
  • You will never be put on the spot, asked to give, or singled out as a visitor unless you want to be greeted.
  • Children are welcome in the service, and there are Sabbath School classes for their age groups.
  • A greeter at the door can help you find a seat, a class, or just answer a question.
  • Arriving a little early for Sabbath School is a relaxed way to meet people before Divine Worship begins.

Every language welcome

You belong here, in your own language.

Our worship services are in Brazilian Portuguese, and our family includes people from many backgrounds. If Portuguese is not your first language, do not let that hold you back — let a greeter know, and we will help you follow along and feel at home. Hospitality is offered in Portuguese, English, and Spanish as volunteers are available.

Cannot make it in person?

Worship with us online.

For anyone who is sick, traveling, homebound, or far from Central Florida, we share selected Sabbath services live on our channel, and past sermons stay available afterward. Wherever you are, you can still be part of the family this week.

Come and see

Your family already has a seat.

No pressure, no obligation — just the joy of welcoming you. If it helps to know what to expect first, plan your visit, or reach out and we will gladly answer any question.
