How to reach out to the team before you come
You are always welcome to simply show up — no message required. But if a quick hello ahead of time would calm the nerves, a short note lets us watch for you, save you a seat, and answer your questions before you ever walk in. Here is how to do it and what helps us help you.
You can just come — a message is optional
Reaching out first is never a requirement. Many people visit CBA Orlando for the first time without telling anyone, and they are met with a warm welcome at the door. A message ahead of time simply removes a little of the unknown: it lets someone be ready to greet you by name and point you where you need to go.
The easiest ways to reach us
Pick whichever feels most comfortable — there is no wrong door:
- Send a short message through the contact form on this site.
- Call or text the church number listed on our contact page.
- Write to us at our church email and we will reply.
If your first language is Portuguese or Spanish, write in your own language. We are a Brazilian community and most of our team is comfortable in all three.
What to put in your message
You do not need anything formal. A sentence or two is plenty. If you want to make it easy for us to help, it helps to mention:
- Which Sabbath (Saturday) you are hoping to come.
- Whether you are bringing children, and their ages, so we can point you to the right room.
- Anything that would make the day smoother — a mobility need, that it is your very first time, or that you would rather quietly observe.
- One question on your mind, if you have one.
Questions you are welcome to ask first
No question is too small, and you are not committing to anything by asking. People often want to know:
- What time should I arrive, and where do I park?
- What is the service like, and how long does it last?
- What do people usually wear? (Come as you are — there is no dress code.)
- Is there something for my kids during the service?
- Is part of the service in English, or mostly in Portuguese?
What happens after you reach out
Someone from our welcome team will reply in a friendly, low-key way — usually with the practical details and a note that they will look for you. There is no follow-up pressure, no sign-up, and no list you are added to. If plans change and you cannot come, that is completely fine; the door stays open for whenever the time is right.
If you need real help, just say so
If you are reaching out because life is heavy right now, you can say that too. We will listen and connect you with someone who cares. For legal, medical, or immigration matters we will point you toward qualified professionals — but you never have to carry it alone, and our care for you is not tied to whether you share our faith.
Send us a quick note
Whenever you are ready, a short message is all it takes. Tell us when you hope to visit, or just ask a question — we would love to hear from you.
