A church in Portuguese for Brazilian families in Orlando

Moving far from home is hard, and missing church in your own language can make it harder. CBA Orlando is a Brazilian Adventist community where you can worship in Portuguese, hear familiar hymns, and find people who understand the journey of a family living between two countries.

Worship and fellowship in Portuguese

At CBA Orlando the heart of our church life is in Portuguese — the preaching, the singing, the prayers, and the conversations over coffee afterward. For many families, hearing the Word and worshiping in their first language is what makes Sabbath feel like home again, even thousands of miles away.

You will recognize the hymns, the warmth, and the rhythm of a Brazilian Adventist church. You do not need to speak English to belong here.

A place for the whole family

We are a family church, and children are welcome — not tolerated, welcomed. We have ministry for kids and teens so your children can learn about Jesus among friends, build Brazilian and Christian roots, and stay connected to their language and faith while growing up in the United States.

  • Sabbath School classes by age, for children and adults.
  • Activities for kids and youth through the year.
  • A community of other Brazilian parents walking the same road.

As a Seventh-day Adventist church, what to expect

CBA Orlando is a Seventh-day Adventist congregation, so our main worship is on Saturday (Sabbath), not Sunday. A typical Sabbath includes Sabbath School — a study time in small groups — followed by the worship service with music, prayer, and a Bible message.

Come as you are. There is no dress code that should keep you away, and someone will be glad to help you find your way and introduce you to others.

Community and support far from home

Church is more than a Saturday service. For a Brazilian family in Orlando, it can be the first place you find friends who speak your language, share a meal, and pray with you through the ups and downs of building a new life.

When someone is sick, looking for work, missing family back in Brazil, or simply needs to talk, this is a community that shows up. Support and friendship here are never conditional on what you believe or how often you attend.

Your first visit, made simple

If you are thinking of visiting, here is all you really need:

  • Plan to come on a Sabbath — message us for the time and place before you go.
  • Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in; let someone know if you are visiting for the first time.
  • Bring the children — there will be a place for them.
  • You do not need to know anyone, dress a certain way, or prepare anything. Just come.

Come and see for yourself

The easiest way to know if CBA Orlando feels like home is to visit one Sabbath. We would love to welcome you and your family in person.
