Christ at the center
Jesus is the center of our faith, our worship, and our hope. Everything we do flows from Him.
About CBA Orlando
CBA Orlando — Comunidade Brasileira Adventista — began as a Brazilian Seventh-day Adventist church in Central Florida. Today we are growing into a community center where neighbors of any background can find practical help, healthy community, and, if they want it, a place to explore faith.
We are Brazilians who live in Orlando and the surrounding cities, joined by Portuguese-speaking neighbors from Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, and beyond. As a Seventh-day Adventist congregation, we follow the Bible, look forward to the return of Jesus, and keep the seventh-day Sabbath as a gift of rest from God. More than doctrine, we want to be a spiritual family where each person is known by name.
We believe a church should be good news to its neighbors in real, tangible ways. So we serve first — with food, encouragement, prayer, and trusted referrals — and we never make that help depend on what a person believes. Everyone is welcome at the table.
Care opens the door; it never sets a price. When someone receives help from CBA, there is no obligation to attend, believe, or sign anything. But if a person ever wants to pray, ask a hard question, or take a step of faith, we would be honored to walk with them — only if and when they choose.
Jesus is the center of our faith, our worship, and our hope. Everything we do flows from Him.
Scripture is our final rule of faith and practice. We teach the Word with care, context, and honesty.
A family, not an audience — people known by name, heard in their burdens, and celebrated in their joys.
We serve Central Florida with care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
We invest in the next generation with safe, caring activities for children and youth.
Portuguese, culture, food, and warmth — your heritage is welcome here in full.
As a Seventh-day Adventist church, we share the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the worldwide Adventist family — drawn entirely from the Bible. They cover God, Scripture, salvation in Jesus, the Sabbath, the Christian life, family, and the hope of His return. You do not need to agree with all of it to be welcome; conversation is always open.
The full text of the 28 Fundamental Beliefs is published by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
CBA Orlando is served by a team of pastors and lay leaders. The pastor is assigned through the Florida Conference; the rest serve voluntarily, alongside elders, deacons, and department leaders elected by the local church. Get to know who helps make the church happen.
CBA Orlando follows the Adventist congregational model: pastoral leadership working in partnership with elders, deacons, and ministry leaders chosen by the local church. Major decisions belong to the church members together, through the annual business meeting.
No pressure and no cost — just a welcome. Come worship, ask questions, or simply see what a community center built around compassion looks like. And if you need help today, reach out first.
